# Creator: design and revisions {#creator-design}

Design confirmation presents a visual preview and explains why the direction fits the specification. Enlarge the preview and inspect hierarchy, readability, tone, and important game states before building.

## Start or update the design {#confirm-design}

Choose **Start building** when the direction is ready. Choose **Update design** for focused feedback; attachments can illustrate colors, layout, or reference material. Design feedback should describe the desired outcome rather than rewrite gameplay rules that belong in the specification.

## Compare and restore revisions {#design-revisions}

Open earlier revisions to compare previews and rationale. Restore only after confirming the target revision. Restoration changes the active design direction; it does not automatically rebuild an already playable version, so verify the next build.

## Custom design systems {#custom-design}

Advanced users can upload a supported custom design-system ZIP or reset the override. Treat it as project input and preserve a known-good copy. Invalid structure or missing assets can block design and build. Next read [Build and preview](/docs/en/creator-build-preview/).
