Files, source, and assets#
Both apps separate general project files from generated source. Studio also has an image asset pool in Properties. These surfaces are related, but they are not interchangeable storage locations.
Manage project files#
Upload multiple files, then preview supported text, images, PDFs, audio, and video. Download, rename, or delete a file from its actions. A file referenced by the game is marked In use and cannot be renamed or deleted until the reference is removed. The current list is flat even when generated source uses folders.
Inspect source#
Source is read-only in both Creator and Studio. Browse folders, preview or download a file, and download the complete source ZIP. Use Source to understand or share the generated implementation—not as an in-app code editor. The last source location is remembered per project.
Use Studio image assets#
Studio Properties provides a separate image pool for upload, rename, removal, and assignment to board elements. Chat attachments, feedback attachments, Files, and image assets have different lifecycles. Export the project before large media changes and see Transfer, duplicate, and convert.
